Woof Wednesday

Welcome to Woof Wednesday!

Each Wednesday, I’ll be introducing you to wonderful dogs searching for loving forever homes. My hope is that by sharing their stories, we can help more tails find happy endings. The links on who to contact for each dog will be provided with each profile.

No paw left behind is the mission. 🐾

Please meet some dogs from CA, PA and NY all in need of good, loving homes.

MAX is a 3 year old, 42 lb German shepherd

Animal Location: Carson – C323

ANIMAL ID:A5781446

Angel is 5 year old, 60lbs mixed breed.

ACCT-A-255110 is currently considered urgent and at risk of euthanasia due to length of stay and lack of space for incoming dogs. Angel must have confirmed placement with a RESCUE PARTNER, or EXPERIENCED ADOPTER by Sunday, August 9th 2026 at 10AM. Should Angel’s medical or behavioral status change, her urgency and timeline for placement may also change.

Angel is a gentle soul looking for a patient person to show her that the world isn’t such a scary place. Found as a stray, she was understandably frightened when she first arrived at the shelter, but with time, kindness, and plenty of tasty treats, her sweet personality has continued to shine through. Volunteers describe her as a quiet, low-key girl who enjoys leisurely walks, loves rolling around in the grass, and has earned countless “good girl” comments from the people who’ve spent time with her.

Before adopting, please remember that bringing a dog into your family is a lifelong commitment. Dogs need love, patience, time, training, and quality veterinary care. If you’re considering adoption, take time to make sure you’re ready to provide the stable, loving home every dog deserves.

Even if you can’t adopt, sharing a dog’s story may help them find the family they’ve been waiting for.

Because every dog deserves to be loved. ❤️🐾

Forest bathing definitely works. All the green calms me, it’s therapeutic. 💚
