To blossom fully, every aspect of our lives must be aligned. I’ve had all kinds of unimaginable things thrown my way these past few years. Life felt out of control. Then happened to read this quote “nothing changes, if nothing changes” it was one of those light bulb moments.
Those words inspired me. Knew what I needed most was to embark on a journey to heal. To learn ways to strengthen the body, mind and soul. What that exactly looks like I’m not even sure, believe it to be a more learn as I go process. But they say when the student is ready the teacher will appear. So I’m open and ready to explore or learn what is needed.
Read plenty about how small, sustainable lifestyle changes can lead to profound improvements in quality of life. But those kind of changes don’t happen overnight. We often think changing the diet and exercise is the key to getting healthy but it actually involves much more. Holistic health approaches tend to encompass the body, mind and soul. They often involve addressing all aspects of life including social interactions, relationship with technology, work life balance, hobbies, mental health, spirituality, beliefs and more.
Making real or profound changes happens gradually, taking small steps to form new habits, routines and ways of thinking. But think if we invest the effort and time our lives can transform, much like mirroring the natural and gentle unfolding of a bud into a flower.
